Fares Jamal, D.O.


Fares Jamal, D.O. is joining Millennium Cardiology as an interventional and endovascular cardiologist, specializing in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of complex cardiac and vascular disease. He completed his Internal Medicine residency, Cardiovascular Disease fellowship, and Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Warren Hospital, and earned his medical degree from the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Jamal is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is also certified in Nuclear Cardiology and Adult Echocardiography. His clinical expertise spans coronary and peripheral interventions, including genicular artery embolization, complex peripheral chronic total occlusions, and venous disease management.


Dr. Jamal is an active member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Society of Echocardiography, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and case reports in cardiovascular medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Jamal enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, along with extended family and friends.
